Customized Refrigerator Connections and Settings
Step 1: Move and Unpack the Commercial Refrigerator
Clear the pathway to the installation location. Make sure the refrigerator doors are closed and secured and carefully move the appliance to the installation location. Keep the refrigerator as upright as possible - don't tilt it more than 45 degrees. Remove any shipping materials and packaging and recycle or dispose of them properly.
Step 2: Place and Level the Refrigerator
With the refrigerator in place, check the top and all sides of the appliance for the recommended clearance. Make sure vents on the unit aren't blocked. Place a level on top of the refrigerator and check to ensure the appliance is level. Adjust as needed, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 3: Install the Handles and Anti-Tip Brackets
If the handles for the refrigerator doors aren't pre installed, install them now. Your commercial refrigerator may include anti-tip brackets. Install these according to the manufacturer's instructions. For example, with some commercial refrigerators, you fasten the brackets to mounting holes on top of the appliance and then secure them to the wall.
Step 4: Plug In the Refrigerator and Set the Temperature
Once you' ve waited the specified time for the coolant to settle, plug in the refrigerator. Set the temperatures for the fresh and frozen compartments. Depending on your model, you may need to install batteries for an external display panel.
