Analysis Of The Structure Of An Integrated Ice Maker
Jun 17, 2025
An integrated ice maker is a common ice-making device that can be used in various occasions, such as shopping malls, supermarkets, food factories, etc. It consists of multiple components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, throttle valves, etc. Below, we will introduce these components one by one.
1. Compressor
The compressor is one of the key components of an integrated ice maker, which is mainly responsible for compressing the refrigerant into high-pressure gas. Compressors are divided into piston compressors and rotary compressors. Piston compressors are suitable for small ice makers, and rotary compressors are suitable for large ice makers.
2. Condenser
The condenser is another important component of the integrated ice maker. Its main function is to cool the high-temperature and high-pressure gas refrigerant into liquid so that it can be recycled. The material of the condenser is generally copper tubes and aluminum flakes.
3. Evaporator
The evaporator is located inside the ice maker and is the part where the refrigerant evaporates. After the compressor compresses the refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gas, the refrigerant enters the evaporator through the expansion valve or throttle valve, where it evaporates into a low-temperature and low-pressure gaseous fluid, thereby absorbing heat from the surrounding environment and producing cold air.
4. Throttle valve
The throttle valve is a valve that can adjust the internal pressure of the refrigerator. This makes the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant at the outlet suitable for the working needs of the ice maker. Throttle valves are generally divided into manual and electric types.
